How To Be My Sister's Keeper.
As ladies we need to uplift each other in every thing we do. We all need someone in our circle that can encourage, strengthen, and edify us. No one can succeed being a island. We must be our sister's keeper. 50% of women in society today know how to motivate each other, while the other 50% of women know how to tear down and break down others self confidence. As a woman you can't do everything by yourself. You need friends and sisters to encourage you through great and rough periods in your life. In high school I did not let any women in my life encourage me. I put up a barrier in my life so that people couldn't give me advice because I thought they were irrelevant. I created this island for myself, thinking I could just motivate myself. Yes, You can motivate yourself, but who is going to motivate you when negativity starts to rise up in your mind. How many opportunities have you stopped yourself from taking or open doors you didn't walk through because you didn't have any one to encourage you to go forward it? Plenty of open doors I wanted to go through, but I would have negative thoughts and back away. If I was not on my island, I could be a different person than I am today. Ladies we need to be our sister's keeper!! We need to encourage each other no matter the circumstance. How can we motivate each other when we are calling each other "B-I-T-C-H" or "H-O-E"!!! If we don't want men calling us these words, why do we do it to each other? We as ladies should only lift up each other with positive words. You never know what someone else is going through, and as your sister's keeper you have the power to change their outlook by being kind, and compassionate. We can't be so consumed with our own lives that we aren't concerned about the welfare of or sisters around us!
